Comprehensive characterization of patients with inflammatory bone disease with serological profiling and imaging

The Z01 clinical service project provides clinical, serological and imaging data for the individual research projects. High-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT, Xtreme-CT scanner) data from 1400 patients with chronic inflammatory diseases will be available to the participants. From 2022 a new Xtreme CT II scanner will be available, which will allow an even finer characterization of bone in patients with inflammatory diseases. Based on the specific interest of the Dresden Center on bone therapies, clinical, serum and bone data are available from patients that have received anti-catabolic treatments and anabolic treatments.
